Would you rather have Bolduc or Kleven in the lineup?

Good trade for Brannstrom, IF they trade him, need to get a guy that could be good in the NHL but there is no rush to do this now, IF kubalik is moved of course.

Very unlikely that Ottawa carries a 23 men roster at ANY point this season. So moving Kubalik means you don't have to move Brannstrom now.,

Sens should NOT PAY to move Joseph. Trade Kubalik instead for any pick. Makes a LOT more sense.

Also, Tarasenko needs to produce to be useful so needs to be with Tkachuk-Stutzle.

Don't break the Norris-Batherson duo

Bolduc for now, Kleven doesn't have a PRO season, could use more development.

Not ideal because both are LHD but we'll figure this out later.

Bolduc has AHL experience so he’s probably more ready

For me that’s not enough to take three years of Joseph at roughly $3m per. Ottawa has two 1st round picks in the upcoming draft, in order to take that contract one of those picks ends up in Chicago.

I think it takes a first to move Joseph. Not because he's a bad player or anything, Ottawa is just insanely desperate for cap space and teams can squeeze them for basically anything they want

I'm not a fan of trading Brännström just so we can carry 3 extra guys. Get the Joseph deal done and sign Pinto. Keep as may guys in the AHL as you can.

Kleven didn't do himself any favours in camp. Getting some time in the AHL will do him good. He'll get some NHL time regardless when injuries happen.

I don't know Im not a sens fan, all I know is that dressing 11 forwards is not sustainable. Especially when four of those players are MacEwen, Kastelic, Jelly and Joseph

Anyone who has followed Joseph this summer (destroyed the 3v3 league where Suzuki, Letang, Dubois, etc play), training camp, pre season and even in the first game of the season KNOW that it would just be DUMB to pay ANYTHING to move Joseph. He will be well worth his modest 2.95 AAV again this season, like he was well worth it in 2021-22

It's ok if you don't want to take on his contract without being paid but this is a Habs fan making this proposal. Informed Sens fans are not going to propose things like this anymore going forward

Dorion has wasted SO MANY assets over the years, paying a 2nd + 4th to move a 3rd line forward we need instead of a secondary scorer we don't need as much (Kubalik) would just be continuous Dorion AWFUL management. We have to stop the bleeding ASAP

Great so Joseph was good in the 3 on 3 roller hockey league, that means he is an invaluable asset to any team in the league, even though he's overpaid by 2 million dollars

Also I'm not a Habs fan but nice try bud

It's not a roller league lol, he's also not an "invaluable" asset, it's just that it would be stupid to pay to move him when you could just trade the UFA to be Dominik Kubalik.

And Joseph is nowhere near "overpaid by 2 million dollars"

Looking at 1-3 AAV forwards on UFA years, Joseph is either better defensively, PK, offensively or both than many of them

https://www.capfriendly.com/browse/active/2024/caphit/all/forwards?salary-structure=one-way&contract=standard&stats-season=2024&limits=age-26-46&pg=4

Note : sorry thought I had seen Montreal fan in your profile before, doesn't change much as you're not a Sens fan proposing this.
