That's a ridiculous statement. How was Raddysh doing at 22 years old? In this move, Ottawa would essentially be getting this year and next of Raddysh before he's eligible to be a UFA. I wont comment on katchouk because I don't put any value on him and he's in the same boat as Raddysh UFA wise. Chicago gets 4+ years of a young centre trending in the right direction. Even without the 2018 Canadian World Junior team, that's really not the type of return Sens would be looking for Pinto, IF they were looking to trade him. And his value is definitely more than that, because there's something called PROJECTABILITY, something that the TROLL in this thread has no idea what it means. I meant first full year on one team. It’s almost as if a 23 year old kid moving across the country might take a small toll on him lol. He was barely getting any minutes on Tampa hence why he was at 0.5 PPG in those 21 games in Chicago but only 0.2 PPG in Tampa

A few things.... Pinto would be a 2nd line center on most teams.... He could potentially be a 2nd line center if Norris is hurt. Centers automatically have more value. I actually like Raddysh but I don't think he ever rises above a 3rd line player.... I could be wrong for sure, just don't think he has much ceiling left. Pinto has a lot more ceiling left. Plus Ottawa has Jarventie, Crookshank, Sokolov, Pettersson, Ostapchuk, & Boucher for wingers that could potentially play on lines 2-4. Ottawa would likely prefer a center if they are moving Pinto out.

Not sure how you figure he could potentially have more value than Pinto? Pinto has team control for another 5 years.... Raddysh only 2.... He also has arbitration rights... Pinto doesn't... Making Pinto far more valuable.

Your last sentence completely defeats your narrative of being traded hurting his numbers that you had in the first two sentences of that post.

Okay, so you want to give him a pass on that season and call 74 games "not a full season" so that you can compare his 5th year pro to Pinto's 2nd pro season and say that Raddysh is better. A 6th year pro winger who scored 20 once, compared to a 22yo C who scored 20 in the NHL in his first full pro season....... when Raddysh didn't score 20 in the AHL at the same age.

Raddysh isn't a bad player, but he's not the player or prospect that Pinto is by a long shot.
