    Ottawa declines.

We are not moving Pinto for a single 1st round pick that is 3 drafts away.

Trading for Ned fixes one problem, sure, but moving Perbix further exposes the issue of our defense struggling to adjust to a new system.

    Can't see TB doing it.

I know it probably would expose a new problem but I don’t know is Perbix really going to make a big difference 🤷‍♂️ I don’t watch TBL games so like I don’t know. But Tampa really does need a goalie.

Heh 😅 I mean Ottawa is doing fine without him so like do they Actually need him?? Like yes they would love to but I don’t know with how Ottawa is performing if they are going to sign him quicker. And don’t forget that first rounder could be a potential high pick depending on what Pittsburgh looks like in a few years

Realistically nobody is waiting 3 years for a 1st especially OTT who wants to start to win immediately

Unless that trade for Jeff Carter comes with water from the fountain of youth Sabres decline.

I totally agree but just imagine if three years from now Ottawa is a Stanley cup contender and then they have a lottery pick or whatever. That would just make them even better, knowing that in a few years they would have another star on their team

I can’t see any reason the Sabres would even be remotely interested in Carter

I’d love Perbix on our bottom pair, but I just don’t see TB moving on from him and his cheap deal… Even if it means they get Ned.

Also, we’re stuck with Carter. The fan base simply needs to accept it for one last season.

Then when Vasilevskiy comes back it adds cap issues no chance they give up Perbix for a band-aid

They need more depth in my opinion rather than a bandaid fix.
