I totally agree but just imagine if three years from now Ottawa is a Stanley cup contender and then they have a lottery pick or whatever. That would just make them even better, knowing that in a few years they would have another star on their team

Also, we’re stuck with Carter. The fan base simply needs to accept it for one last season.
