Sorry no chance. I'm offering Sorokin who's in his prime, signed at a reasonable salary - a Top 3 goalie. You have to give up something someone like this. Regardless of Nemec's profile...He's still unproven...Sorokin is not.

Canucks easily decline. We’re weak on D and strong on the wings, trading a defenceman for a goalie makes zero sense. We are also walking a fine line with the cap, taking on Lee’s contract would cost a lot more than just a 3rd for us. It’s puts us into complete cap hell.

why would the Sens sell low on Pinto now at all times, after actively supporting him through the whole process, and being able to sign him for a cheaper deal than expected once he returns. trading him now makes even less than before, when it still made no sense
