Leafs gladly pass. We need to upgrade our d core. We don't need more forwards. That cap space and the 1st round pick will be used to upgrade the D.

You must be insane if you think the Bruins will do that trade. Ullmark is worth a first on his own thats insane. You'd owe us a first with that package we're giving up. Would never happen.

If TB thought he was worth 2.75 or could afford it for him Rutta would already be wearing a bolt. TB doesn't come close to having the cap in 2-3 weeks when Vasilevskiy returns. Plus you can only retain 3 contracts

Boston declines. Don’t even consider it. Ullmark declines NTC. Edmonton is on it.

Sharks only have three retention slots, and two are being used for Burns and Karlsson

The whole trade valuation is off in general.

I will give Forbort credit this year. He’s played at a higher level 5 by 5 and is an outstanding penalty killer. He’s probably overpaid by a million. I don’t believe he’d be a hard cap dump at this point, but he’s not worth a second round pick.

Most Boston fans wanted to cap dump him in the offseason, so seeing how he is playing now is a pleasant surprise
