Sens can barely field a full 20 players under the salary cap, they can't afford Gudbranson. You'd have to take at least equal salary back, and there isn't really anyone they're looking to dump.

I'm thinking that Ottawa isn't a destination for Gudbranson. They can't fit him with 50% retention, that's not an answer. You'd have to give up assets for a player they like who makes $4M or more, your concept here is getting rid of him for cap space.

Sharks are overloaded with LD options right now so unless it’s a bonafide young strong top 4 guy sharks likely pass. Now one of Boqvist or Peeke or even Kent Johnson fill holes in the now and future and those I think sharks would be interested in, but dependent on cost.
