Leafs have no interest in Kadri for 5.5 years at even 6 million. If Parayko is an iffy contract for nearly 7 years.
No team is taking 3.55m Samsonov without cap being returned, never mind giving up a second rounder too.

Blues clear salary to sign much worse defenseman in UFA to long term contract that’s much worse of a contract to fill the hole.

You don’t use the pillar of your defense to clear salary
