The first trade I don't mind.
The second trade decline is because I don't know if Calgary is interested in having TJ Brodie, even though he played with Calgary a few years ago.
The third trade declined, however I would change it differently.
Instead of trading Kuzmenko, Vancouver should trade Myers (retained $2,000,000) instead of trading Kuzmenko to Calgary in exchange for Calgary's first-round 2024 pick.
But I can tell you Flames fans are going to be if they don't have a first-round 2024 pick.

This fix is probably not whats needed any ways.
The more I think about it the defense is tructured very weird.
Weegar , Andersson , Hanifin and then Kylington when back are all offensive defense.
The only stay home defender on team really is Tanev.
They have incredible defense but I think they just do not work great together.

Its bad this year because CGY has struggled .

The TML trade was to get retention for a simialr type player for when Kylington cap comes back and to add Kuzmenko which they need more offence up front.

Brodie trade is mostly for retention for when Kylington cap is back and to add Kuzmenko. All to make cap fit.

These are interesting trades. Not sure Calgary is ready to trade Vladar yet, especially to Edmonton. They could get the 2nd from an Eastern team though.

With that said, I don't see any way the Flames trade that pick for Kuzmenko.

No he played pretty bad to start the season. The last few games he's played well though. He will be traded as a throw-in at this point probably

tankathon has Edmonton with the 8th overall pick right now - i honestly don't think they'd risk what will likely be a pick in the 10-14 range just to get a 3rd next year and a goalie who might be as good as Stuart Skinner
