That's too much. 1st round pick should be reasonable to get Tank. Maybe add one lower end prospect or a 4th/5th round pick.

I also assume Colorado will use their assets on a centre. LIndholm MAYBE. But more likely a guy like Monahan or Wennberg.

If you remove Avalanche’s first round pick both sides accept.

Ottawa will want a late 1st that’s it. Tank is a +10 on the year and on pace for 65pts . Playing better than he did last year

Yeah just a late 1st gets it done. We need to improve our prospect pool

Why would the Avs trade that much for an offense only winger?

Ottawa fans think they will get a 1st plus for Vlad, when in reality the return for him will be a 2nd at best, with retention.

Tarasenko doesn’t have the work rate required to succeed in the Avs system. I can’t see Avs touching this deal with a 10 foot pole.

He got a 1st at last years deadline. It is not out of the realm of possibly he gets a 1st again. He is having a good year.

I’d be willing to wager a decent sum of ‘money’ that Vlad doesn’t get a first this year.

I appreciate your confidence! I can't make that certain of a bet though. In my mind he could absolutely get a 1st. But maybe it ends up being a 2nd + prospect. Time will tell.
