Start with a first and a top tier prospect. Then we’ll talk. I don’t see the Blues wanting to deal with the circus that comes with trading for Mailloux either

Avs downgrade LOC into a more expensive Evans and move RyJo all to get Jordan Harris.

Harris would play below Makar, Toews, Girard, Byram, and Manson in the lineup.

Why wouldn’t the Avs just do that Chicago trade and skip all of this themselves?

It’s not too late to delete this.

Ryjo and Evans are both bottom 6 cap dumps at this point and retention makes the AAV a wash, just leave them out of the deal.

What circus? Does he have a pet monkey that can talk?

Just google him. I’m sure you can figure why a team would not want to trade for him for a little while. Especially considering it took nearly 2 years to regain his eligibility to even play in the nhl

Evander Kane. Patrick Kane. Craig McTavish killed a man. Corey Perry is coming back. He's eligible to play so sorry I dont frequent reddit forums trying to cancel every person that doesnt line up with your perfect being.

Haha, okay buddy. All I said is the Blues wouldn’t want to deal with the circus. It’s obviously going to be what the media talks about until after he makes a debut. Armstrong definitely isn’t making the kid the centerpiece to the Buch trade.

1st, the rebuild is over after we draft this summer.
2nd, when you finish to rebuild, you don't trade your prospect for veterans. Mailloux, Bech, Tuch, Xhekaj, Barron and Struble are the futur. You can trade them but not for the players you choose.

Why on earth you give 11 500 000 $ to Reinhart. He is good but not on the level of Panarin, MacKinnon, Makar, Nylander or Matthews. 8 000 000 $ is fair.

It’s hardly a controversial take to say Mailloux would come with extra noise and his value is reduced by having such a public scandal before even playing an NHL game.

For arguments sake these trades go through and Montreal doesn't make the playoffs you have spent all draft/trade capitol to get to this point. Now they have to start their rebuild all over.

Yeah it isn't a rebuild if you trade all the prospects and picks away.

The Habs organization and Mailloux have done all the right things for this kid to get his chance…in Montreal. StLHockey doesn’t seem to be judging the kid himself he’s just saying that a GM wouldn’t want to bring him on due to the bad PR they would face from their fan base, which is completely accurate. Just because something isn’t just doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Don’t shoot the messenger.
