I believe the rumor was Colorado turned down Cutter Gauthier for Byram straight up, even wanting Philadelphia to add in more. Can't imagine a middle-six prospect and 1st rounder are anywhere close to Colorado's valuation of Byram.

A contending Avs team shouldn’t trade a 22 year old top 4 dman for futures. If they move Byram it should be for a young 2C

Byram isn’t available and leafs decline the second you put minten in there guy is considered untouchable, this is the one and only deal I’d be okay with spending 2 1sts but the guy is untouchable
