It’s known that the Jets MO is to make a deal for a guy no one expects. I highly doubt we see them go after Lindholm or Monahan, and I’d be very happy to see them stay away from them.

I mean man, if Philly was open to it, I’d be trying to do whatever I could to get Coots. Jets need a long term solution at 2C. If Boone Jenner was available out of CBJ he’d be a great target too. They need someone who’s not a rental, but a younger guy with term.

Lindholm is exactly what we need and have needed and Chevy shouldn’t wait for the TDL… he should do it now
Problem with your proposal is Lucius is out due to ankle injury and as such CGY might not want him … but as long as it doesn’t cost us Lambert, Salomonsson, or McGroarty, we should definitely pay the price

Lindholm has been horrible since JG and Chucky left. Dude relies so much on having others drive the bus. That’s not wha you went from a C.

When everyone is healthy, assuming we trade for Lindholm, our top 6 should look like this:

Connor-Lindholm-Perfetti
Ehlers-Schiefele-Vilardi

When Connor was out, our top line was on fire as we all saw. Why put Connor on their line, that would mess up with what was working previously.



I do agree Lindholm has been terrible since Chucky and JG have left, but Connor could help him get better. Plus if Lindholm isn't putting enough effort, Bones could work on getting his game back and eventually we will get the Lindholm that we saw when Chucky and JG were still around.

I think you’re highly optimistic to think that level of play could return. I hate that they split up 27-55-13. But Vladdy plays way better with 27 on his line, so until we find a 2C they might have to. My ideal target is Claude Giroux.
