Sens definitely won't be trading Zub, he's a high end shutdown D, and their only notable RHD

He would be a really good partner for Dahlin or Power.

Probably, but he's already an excellent partner for Sanderson.

Yep, kinda why I want the guy. All these D are long shots, but I believe the Sabres have the Assets to get a conversation started on a few.

Krebs? Or maybe Habs add and make a deal for Mittelstadt or Savoie?

I think Power is probably the only thing that they'd take for Zub....

I don't seem moving unless it's a package deal for a player like Dhalin, so definitely not realistic, but that would be type of player it would take for Vancouver to move him, complete overpay

Yeah exactly there's abouslety no reason for Buffalo to make that type of deal imho, young RHD are just so Scarce in the leauge right now the price is so high, though I do hope the Sabres get one soon just not willander smile

That was the worst performance I've seen from an NHL club this season in Anaheim. The Sabres let a young and dysfunctional group outshoot them 19-2 in the 2nd period at one point and the final score was quite flattering, it could have been 10-2 with the odd man rushes. Ukko was outstanding. Its clear he's the better goalie over Levi atm and maybe going forward.

The Sabres were toe picking around the ice and any serious Buffalo fan should want immediate swift, Leafsesque Zamboni goalie losing consequences. Damn. I actually got mad watching how badly the Sabres suck, they were so embarrassing to watch. Nobody goes in the middle of the ice and they all blow the zone too quickly.

I dont even know what you do with this roster. Power's game has gone down the tubes and he looks like a liability out there. Dahlin is just trying weird bullsh1t out there to try and get anything going with spinoramas, etc.

Geez. This is a total mess.

I hope the Sens were celebrating that win last night in the middle of the ice cause of the moms trip? The crowd got so triggered. I was happy to be there for that. Highlight of a terrible game.

A 2024 1st from the Habs is for Mitts (im still holding it as an option in this hypothetical) and fair when you have 4 of the top10 D most likely available at picks 6-8OA. Habs dont need more D. Sabres do. Habs need a spark offensively and the Sabres group doesnt mesh well.

Anaheim is much worse team than the Sens tho and shorthanded with injuries. Sabres were at full strength. Ottawa was healthy last night and clearly motivated. The Habs injuries have caught up to them with Dach/Newhook. Sabres dont have the same excuses, for now.

Willander is basically untouchable. The Canucks drafted him to be Hughes future partner for the next 5+ years. It would take an absurd overpay to convince them to move him. Only scenario I can see them moving him is in a package for a young top pair RHD who can play with Hughes now as opposed to waiting for Willander to develop. Dahlin is the only guy Buffalo has that Vancouver would probably consider moving Willander in a package for, which I simply don’t think is realistic at all.

Every team has injuries, but the Habs have completely lost their identity the past 3 games. I have not seen them play this badly since the 1st Ducharme year where they lucked themselves into a playoff spot because of the play in, but were good awful in the regular season.

They don't have the horses I get it, but man oh man, it was not a good look.

Yes, they were celebrating/cheering their moms. It was the end of the mom's trip, so last game they were playing in front of them.
