I'm sure Trotz is dying to spend the equivalent of two firsts on a 33 year old making 10m

Wouldn't san jose have dealt him to Nashville if that was the return instead of spare parts and a protected 1st that Pittsburgh gave up?

That return won't get you Marner, never mind that fact that you are asking for Woll and Timmins too - Timmins has low value yes, but still could get a mid round pick for him.

Why did e. Karlsson go from being worth cap dumps and a 1st to multiple 1sts in half a season even though he has had a 60% reduction in production?

More than that. There's the 1st, Kemell who's a 1st round pick, and then Fabbro who's worth a 2nd+

Byram is younger, has a higher upside, and will be an RFA at the end of his contract. I don’t think a second makes up the value between him and Pettersson

Why would the Avs do that? Makes no sense for them.
