It's a matter of fitment. The 3C spot is Isaac's in Anaheim pretty securely. Brainstorm would be fighting for 3LD with LaCombe, and frankly, I really like LaCombes progress this year.

They most likely will not. They just aren't a good enough team. They will be out the race by TDL and sellers themselves.
They won't be buying rentals.

Not to mention Zellweger and Vaak. Definitely passing on swapping a fwd for LD

Agree, Avs decline since all Winger positions are filled.
Trades will be geared towards the C position and possibly a back-up G.
A 6 or 7th D-man is also a good option. You never have too many D, in the playoffs!

Pens decline…they really don’t need wing depth. They have Guentzel, Rust, Smith, Rakell, DOC, Pool party in the top 9. Carter, Harkins, Nieto (when he comes back), Puustinen, Zohorna, White, Nylander who are all capable of filling bottom 6 spots.

And I have to add that I've liked what I've seen from Isac as the 2LW beside McTavish in the few games he's played there. All around he's just a nice middle six versatile forward with a higher ceiling yet to reach.

Brannstrom is super overrated by Sens fans. I wouldn't play him over Vaakanainen and I certainly wouldn't pay anything useful to acquire him. Is he even worth a 2M QO this summer? He's a guy I'd want to pay half of that.
