Detroit passes, ZAR is a great veteran presence in Grand Rapids we don't need an aging LHD in Giordano with no space at LD.

You are literally trading a 15 to 20 goals scorer for us playing on third line with the defensively irresponsible Max Domi for a 7th round pick? I would rather keep Robertson, he is finally starting to show his potential and be healthy.
He is looking to be a legitimate top 9 winger, with ceiling of top 6.

The problem is they don't have the proper line mates to compliment Robertson's skill set. They need guys to win the battles down low and get him the puck in a shooting position. Domi doesn't play that style and Jarnkrok tries but lacks the size. Robertson has a high level shot but can the leafs surround him with the proper line mates is the big question.

Why would the isles want 2 more years of Reaves after this season at a higher cap hit than Gauthier

But why trade for a 7th. For a player like that you can get much more. Egnvall got a 3rd.

I don't agree with the value either. Just wish this team was built differently so he could show his true potential.
