The only trade that would count as a "rebuilding" trade is the first one, which Montreal quickly declines. Otherwise, you're trading for a pending UFA in Domi, a 33 year old with 3 more years of term in O'Reilly, a 39 year old with a full NMC (at a position of no need for the Jets, to boot), and turning 33 year old Brenden Dillon into 36 year old Jeff Petry.
I'd argue that overall, these trades don't really help the Jets this year (a year where they are firmly entrenched in playoff position) - MAF is unnecessary, acquiring O'Reilly basically means you traded a 1st for Sean Monahan to play 4th line minutes, Max Domi is less productive than Cole Perfetti has been this year, and moving out Samberg & Dillon while only getting back Jeff Petry means that Logan Stanley is drawing into the top-6 every single night. The only plus her is gaining Slafkovsky - but again, there's next to no chance that Montreal makes that deal without a young, established NHL forward with years of team control comes back.
