all of these contracts seem light to me, I would think stamkos gets 5.5-6.5, mitts gets 6.5-7.5, Henrique gets 4-4.5, and not sure JBB would sell that low on Jeannot although I wouldnt be too disappointed if he did. Also sheary should be moved in the offseason so that would free up another 2 mil, I would say its maybe possible to resign mitts if they get rid of sheary and jeannot but not henrique too

He's not a very good skater for a big man, can't see Buffalo doing this.

Ya possibly a bit light. Taxes and ring chasing helps too.

For sure. We've seen guys like Hughes elevate a bunch of guys like Schenn. I know Dahlin could and maybe Power might soon.

Why exactly would we trade in division the better player to get a 1st 2 years out, a 2nd next year and a former 3rd round pick that would need support to be a great player due to a lack of foot speed.

That's an easy no for us.

I don't hate adams as much as a lot of fans do, but time is of the essence here. Reasonably, adams won't be here 3 drafts from now, he likely would be acquiring first round picks for his successor. And that's not even factoring in a 13 year playoff drought, and a fan base that doesn't have patience left.

As he's grown into his body, I read his skating has gotten worse.

if you were to launch Barre-Boulet and Sheary into the sun as well, opens up more cap space and the chance to play younger players from Syracuse like Groshev and Goncalves

Also I'd take Lilleberg over Fleury any day of the week

Those deals for both Mitts and Stammer are at least $1m per year light. And Henrique doesn't sign for that either. This isn't realistic.

Depends if he happy with the organization's direction. Lots more than just money.

Stammer will be interesting. Keep him around until he's 40. Might change things. Fair enough on Henrique.

Based on your suggestion, 8x$6.5 for Mitts, I don't see it but who knows.

I don't think Stammer signs for less than Hagel regardless of the term. He's still a high level level player. Mitts likely doesn't sign a long term deal unless it's for a big number. Otherwise, he probably goes to arbitration, signs a one year deal, and becomes a UFA in the summer of '25.
