This actually isn't bad. I just don't think Columbus would want to give up Johnson for a D prospect when they have Jiricek. plus they have Sverson and Werenski signed for a while, and a couple more years of Provorov.

they have only Jiricek at RD, no ? Most seems to be LD like Montreal (but Ghule plays as well on the RD)

The Habs are not trading Reinbacher at all, the best that Columbus will get from us is Winnipeg 1st + Colorado 2nd.

A) dont think Clb needs a RD
B) well, KJ value is likely at a low point. Dont see Habs giving up a top RD prospect for a guy that has 16 pts this season...

I mean, KJ is not happy in Columbus, change of scenery would really help. Still see him as a 70p guy. Tons of potential still, same with Reinbacher who kind of stagnated this year (I know Kloten SUCKS but still)

Reinbacher stays in MTL, we're interested in adding Kent but using pieces we'd actually be willing to move. I'm not saying use the quantity>quality approach, just not trading pieces which appear to be the cornerstone of Hughes' rebuild.

This good on value, but i dont think the Jackets take it as we dont need RD. If we traded KJ, which is very doubtful, it would be for a forward who has similar age and potential.

Prospects? Ceuelemans who's probably two years out. In the NHL or NHL-caliber stuck in the AHL because he doesn't fit? Gudbranson (signed two more seasons after this, is an actually good third pairing D and being deployed properly), Peeke (likely gone this summer but currently immovable), Adam Boqvist (finally starting to look like he deserved to be a first round pick five years ago, but small and made of glass), Nick Blankenburg (small, made of glass, college FA signing from a few years back, KJ's friend and Owen Power's former D partner in college). There are just so many bodies right now. None blocking Reinbacker per se, but RHD would still be unlikely to be a target for Columbus.

I would prefer the former 5OA young player in the midst of a sophomore slump not be traded for futures and things we don't need. As part of a bigger trade for an actual upgrade to the NHL club going forward? Sure. But not for a late first and a minor wing prospect who'd never see the ice for Columbus.

Roy is not a good enough of a prospect to get KJ, even when a late 1st is added. If you view KJ as a 70pt potential player, then we would need a prospect that is also believed to get to that level. Thats not going to happen and so we arent going to trade KJ, at least not at this point.
