It's a good price to get rid of Campbell

Chicago is not trading for Campbell.

but why? It's an opportunity to get a 2C and to get to the play off in 2026 and win a first cup in 2028 or 2029.

Both trades are bad for Chicago. They're not going to be big spenders in UFA (maybe one big signing) and you clearly don't pay attention to Vlasic. He's going to get double what you have him signing for.

Please stick to the Pens and Blues and quit screwing with the Hawks.

As far as raw trade value, maybe, but this doesn't happen in a vacuum. He's a much more important piece to their current success than you may realise and is both young and likely to be cost-effective going forward.

Vlasic gets more term/money- Likely both. McLeod is a good player, would love to have him, but dumping Campbell cost more than that. Hawks arent trying Boquist again, that experiment failed (mostly coaching).
