I think you are overpaying for Krebs, the late first is probably fine if the Sabres are gonna move him. As far as undersized forwards go, Farrell would be an interesting player if we weren't already loaded to the gills with undersized forward prospects. The smaller guys aren't on everybody's wish list, but I would think would want him if you wanna move him.

Need a higher quality piece if you want Zegras and that’s a huge overpay for Krebs

What pick would you want for Kovacevic? I would like him for depth on the Leafs.

The Calgary pick likely becomes the Florida pick so it’ll more than likely be a late 1st. And by 2026 I think MTL should be at least a fringe playoff team, but there’s a chance I guess. But you’re also waiting 3 drafts for that pick

I also don't think zegras is as valuable as some. Very few players have gotten 2 non conditional 1sts and you throw in 2 other pieces....

The defense & goaltending isn’t good enough to make the playoffs

Don’t think we WANT to move Krebs though

We should learn more about him more that he’s getting a chance in the top9 now

Yeah, that offer isn't anywhere near enough for Zegras. More Ethan likely late 1sts not to mention having to defer the picks by multiple drafts. Prospects offered don't nearly make up the difference.

Now that Buffalo has traded Mittelstadt instead I don’t think Krebs is on the table. I think they want to see what he can turn into getting a real opportunity.

    Where's the Top 6 pick
And if your just dumping Kovacevic, keep your 3rd and I will take him.

I actually don’t agree that zegras is worth more than 1 top 10 first plus a 20-32nd overall pick and a decent prospect. Jury is still very much out on that dude - not even sure I want him on the Habs
