Description

This is a simulated result of what trades/signings were made in our GHL GM League for a simulated off-season.

GM's were tasked with the job of getting their team ready for the season. They had to stay within the salary cap restrictions and must have a maximum of 6 players on the Taxi Squad for injury relief purposes.

Your job is to comment and evaluate how the GM managed their team.

Questions to answer:
1. What was the best move made by the GM?
2. What was the worst move made by the GM?
3. Did the GM improve the team or make them worse?

So you are offering less for Texier than the compensation for an offer sheet is? Columbus would not do that trade.

Anaheim isn't the right place to send a LhD, never mind player value or which side the draft pick should be on.

Easy pass for the ducks as we have Fowler Mintyukov LaCombe Zellweger Vaakanainen along with a few more prospects

Hawks don't make any of those 3 trades. They aren't trading a 2nd for a LD. Neither Texier or Jones really improve the forward group enough to give up any assets for. DeBrusk is ok but would rather see the Hawks target a 2C in free agency.

It's a GM game. Whoever was running the CBJ in it also gave away Boqvist with retention for a 2025 4th, so I'm not exactly impressed by their competence.

I won't even comment on the trades because I agree with what everyone else said, but why is the best Dman on this team 3M underpaid and on the bottom pair?
