Holtz + Marino + lottery 1st + 2nd is a huge overpay for Chychrun

Brady isn’t getting traded for Nemec straight up. Nemec + 1st + Holtz. Sens aren’t just giving him away. It’s gonna take teams to offer a **** ton to get him. I have no idea what a good proposal would be, I just threw this together. However, it won’t be a one for one deal, wherever he goes.

I personally wouldn't be interested in Chychrun I'd do Holtz Marino 10th overall and the 2nd for Brady though

I personally wouldn't trade Nemec for Zegras straight up. I'll take a guy on a path to be our #1 RHD than to get a guy that is more flash than result where it's not even like Zegras is a point per game solid center four years in. I get her was hurt. This is also adding to the fact the Devils already have Hischier and Hughes at 1-2C. I wouldn't pay for Zegras to be the LW as he doesn't bring anything close to what Brady could at LW bringing grit to Jack's left side.

Jack Hughes I would offer only 1 for 1 for any of those players.

Nico Hischier would replace Nemec in any of those proposals if they want him instead.

I wouldn't say its an easy yes Marino is a top 4 27YO RHD who is on a good contract plus Holtz who is worth at least a 1st plus the picks. I'd say that's at least 4 first round picks worth of value. You can ask for Nemec all you want but really prospects like him don't move unless its for a mega star

Marino’s analytics haven’t been good and don’t show he’s a 2nd pair Dman.

The 1st is okay , I like that piece potentially

Marino has had very analytics prior to this year also doesn't brady have horrible analytics at least he did his first few years

Holtz is in his first year if he was a 1st liner already he wouldn't be in this package

I think Brady would be worth more to GMs for 2 reasons one because he was injured and the surgery controversy and two BIG&MEAN you know NHL GMs love that

the Center aspect means more than #hits imo.

But if you want to go to a guy who had identical production as a power forward, look no further than the Timo Meier trade we already made.

Tkachuk is younger, more hits, more certainty with contract, more goon.

Meier was better defensively, cheaper 1 year, more term available, more scoring. (overall Meier will make 8.15 mill a year in NJD for 9 years)

I'd go from that proposal:

1st+Casey/Holtz/Marino (they can choose)+2nd that can become a 1st.

our 2024 pick being SIGNIFICANTLY higher than the pick we gave SJS bridges the gap in age.
