I don't think Anaheim would move LaCombe for less than a 1st, but idk, as for Protas, washington just re-signed him, so he would cost a lot imo

Honestly don’t know what Jackson would be worth but I think it would end up being for a RWer 1 for 1 if something was done

Emberson was a waiver wire add by San Jose before the season. He’s been hurt a couple times this year but when in the lineup he’s been pretty good. Better than I thought he would be. 10 points in 30 games and is an RFA turning 24 next month. I don’t think San Jose wants to move him, he seems to fit in the timeline for being better. I could see him going for a 3rd maybe

Hmm. I figured you guys would say the Ducks aren't trading LaCombe. Hmmmmmmm.

We would be open to it if it filled other needs or made us able to then trade for someone else

None of them are worth very much. The most valuable of the bunch would be Orlov if he comes with 50% retention.

We would trade Jackson LaCombe for Matt Coronato.

We're not trading him for picks

We'd do a hockey trade for a position of need with a similar age range and ceiling, so a young middle 6 RW or 2nd pair RD

I’m in agreement! I liked him and Thrun and want to see both develop.

How do you feel about Robertsson plus a decent pick?

Why would the Canes be trading Orlov? His contract isn’t in the way of what the Canes can do this offseason. Whilst he is slightly overpaid, having the term be low is the tradeoff. Given that he likely is the replacement for Skjei for next season, I would imagine it would cost a pretty penny for anyone wanting to try and acquire Orlov.

Washington recently re-upped Protas so I don't believe they'll be looking to trade him. Maybe he'll be available in a year or two depending on how far along Miroshnichenko, Leonard, and Cristall are, but currently fits the same role Lars Eller did so they'll likely be hesitant to move him even with a surplus of forwards.
