Ok but why would he be more likely to sign with the Habs? If he won't sign with Winnipeg it's due to it being Canada. And last I checked Bloc Quebecois is yet to win the election

Bloc is pro Quebec, but against independence. They are there to make sure our right are respected and to negotiate for our entry in the Canadian Constitution (we are officially out of Canada)

Jets were his favourite team growing up 0 chance he doesnt sign, he just wants to have an impactful roster spot when he does come over

I'm not actually sure McGroarty rises given the growth of some guys taken after him (Yurov, Kulich, Poitras, etc.). And the 2022 draft is also weaker than the 2023.

And under no circumstances does this make sense for both teams. Montreal wants Reinbacher as a RD anchor, they're not going to move him for a winger.
