Nope, credit given to Tre for making the playoffs, Dubas will be the reason why we don't make it out of R1. You can't win a cup if JT is your captain (great choice by Dubas)

I honestly don't get why Dubas took the job with PIT, short of just wanting a paycheck.

Guy already has it on his resume that he's the guy who blew Toronto's window due to bad cap management. Now he follows it up with a job that honestly, at no fault of his own, he's doomed to fail at. They blew through futures for years trying (And succeeding) to compete.

Like, if PIT wants to ride out that core group until the end, that's fine and understandable, but the consequence is a long, ugly rebuild. (Look at what it got Detroit and San Jose) Dubas is gonna be the scapegoat for it, even though their fate was sealed before he even stepped in.

EK65 is still better than at least 5/6 of the Leafs defensemen, so you can't talk smack
