It’s interesting and I would think about it but I imagine the flyers have Bonk off limits since they just drafted him and he had a big year. It’s also technically a 1st and two 2nds and I don’t think the front office would be crazy about giving that up.

I think the Chychrun trade would be a different type of deal.

I like the Oilers trade might be slightly an overpay but I think its fair and would instantly make the lineup better.

Edmonton trade is terrible.

I don't think the Flames are going to trade for 4th liners at this point. They already have Duehr, Hunt, and Rooney, with the option to bring Greer back. Moreover, all of Coronato, Pelletier, Schwindt and Klapka had spot duty on the 4th line this year.

More of a retool than a rebuild. The Batherson trade makes no sense. I like the Chychrun trade because we need Bonk to return to his hometown!
I'd keep Kastelic instead of selling low on him.

LOL wdym, it's a steal. Batherson is a 1st line RW who would put up 100 points on EDM and he's only 3 years older than Holloway, signed to a great contract. You're giving up nothing of interest to Ottawa.

Over the past 2 regular seasons combined, McLeod and Batherson are tied for 5v5 P/60 (1.71) while McLeod scored at a slightly higher rate (0.74 v 0.70 G/60). McLeod plays a more valuable position (C v W), is younger, faster, cheaper and better defensively.

I wouldn't do a swap 1-for-1, let alone add Holloway and a 3rd.

Bonk might be Flyers only untouchable that isn't named Michkov, doubt they pull the trigger on this one.

Batherson is a great player but not what EDM needs especially at the cost of 2 of our good cost controlled forwards.

We need guys who shine at 5 on 5, not another PP player, Batherson isn't a fit here and we won't be giving up 2 guys that are a fit in exchange for him.

Bonk won't be moved. Flyers also need to rebuild to trading draft picks and your best d prospect for a pending free agent who could be looking for a pretty penny wouldn't work for us.
