Anaheim can and would do better than that offer.

Those are some fascinating UFA choices. Not sure what the attraction is for either the Ducks or those players, tbh.

I think us Anaheim guys have done a good job the last like 4+ months of telling Montreal what it would take to get Zegras, the guy who isn’t on the trade block like you all seem to think

why trade Zegras at a low. If you believe he's worth such a value you should keep him till he shows it.
Otherwise you're return is probably going to be smaller than you wish.

Dude he is man. There is no way he gets to another deal negotiation with Anaheim. I expect Z to move this summer or next.

People always say this and then said player gets moved 3 months later

The same thing from the past 750 times Habs fans have proposed trading for him over the past 5 months. See nearly any MTL ACGM for feedback

Just like how Willy didn’t get an extension after his holdout? I love when someone with no inside knowledge pretends to know something so definitively. Best to clear up any doubt of hubris/ignorance quickly

This is a MTL post, not an ANA one. There’s more reasons than one why you won’t find a single ANA fan suggesting we move him

MTLs 24 1st + Beck + Kovacevic
Reinvacher + MTLs 25 2nd
Slafkovsky

Select one from the above three offers and you might have a deal.

Anything else, and I mean any combination of assets not identified above isn't worth considering. One of 6OA, Reinbacher, or Slafkovsky is required, or there is no deal.

Not that pathetic offer gets Zegras out of Anaheim, Detroit would blow away that offer for him since Yzerman and Verbeek are besties.

And Steven Stamkos won't sign in the West and sure won't sign with a rebuilding Ducks team.

Nope, but it’s wrong of Ducks fans to assume that Verbeek is the one GM who wouldn’t lie about the trade market.

Gotta take everything with a grain of salt

I said those are the trades we'd accept, you have your choice of three, pick one or give up your Zegras fantasies.

Our last GM once said that about Subban. Things are worth more on the market if people think you still want them....

Calm down, if you're too emotional about it do something else instead of getting triggered. I'm making a prediction that's all. Like 99% of ppl. He has 2 yrs left, is a RFA, and there is known tension now.
