Not trying to be mean but this is one of the things i disagree with most that i've ever seen someone say here. I'm really not trying to be mean but we all know how hard the NHL is the play in.

He's not disagreeing. He knows that the NHL is hard to play in. He's saying you don't have to keep telling us that, because we all know. It's extremely hard. That doesn't excuse yearly playoff failure when you have one of the deepest teams in the league tho.

what about when all the fans expect you to win? they likely felt like they had to win for the fans.

You don't think that's happened with literally every other team that won the President's Cup in that span? Didn't affect them.

That's a strawman argument at best. Of course it wouldn't be easy for me. I've never played an organized game of ice hockey in my life. But luckily the Caps haven't signed me, because they've been too busy getting guys like Ovechkin, Kuzy, Oshie, Backstrom, Carlson, Holtby, and other talent. This gave them, unquestionably, the best and deepest roster in the league last year. And they still couldn't get it done.

How is that anything but disappointment and failure? The Caps GM has even admitted himself that they're in a "cup slump without a cup".


go play 12 years then in the NHL and tell me if it's easy to make it to round 3.


There is a theoretical probability of 12.5% of making it to the third round when you make the playoffs, which means 1 to every 8 playoff appearances, cpas failed 12 times

if he was that good in the playoffs like you said, why hasn't he started in more than 6 games since the Game 6 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final?
