Chances that NJD trades a top-10 pick for a rental goalie are slim and none. And slim left town.

Chances of either of these happening are near-nil. Plus, CBJ won’t trade Johnny after how big it was he signed with us.

That being said? If I were GM, I’d really consider this.

NJ not trading 10th pick for Ullmark so it stalls there.

Not interested in that Columbus trade

Hes got 2 years remaining on his deal and won the vezina literally a year ago? Who is a better option for nj right now? Also i think canes and leafs would be serious about ullmark because of their goalie carousels.

And the 2025 first should be about right with value, but I do believe Detroit, Ottawa, Los Angeles offer options that are likely better fits for Boston’s current roster construction.

While I wouldn’t trade a top 10 pick for a pending free agent, I do wonder if Ullmark and an unprotected 2025 first round pick would potentially be a consideration.
