Matthew Tkachuk wakes up to find the Devils traded successfully to bring the 3 Hughes brothers together, the 2 van Riemsdik brothers together, and the 2 Boqvist brothers together.

He also see Brady went to the Devils, and tells the Panthers it's a trade to NJ or else he'll just skate into Bobrovski on every shift during the 2024-25 season until the Panthers lose every game.

The Panthers relent- knowing Tkachuk would do that- and trade him for Holtz, Palat, and a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder.

So teams that have player under contract for four years bow to his trade demands?? Sure. If Brady doesn't want to play with Sens (which I understand), I guess he can retire from pro hockey for four years, and play beer league hockey in New Jersey.

what “upper hand” do the Devils have in trade talks lmao, Brady is under contract for a while now. even if he did ask for a trade, which is just a thing people are making up, the Sens don’t have to do anything
