Kuzmenko might be worth close to Chychrun, since both can produce offense, but are questionable defensively. Kuzmenko needs to be more consistent while Chychrun is injury prone and needs to prove he can stay healthy

Mangiapane is a very good two-way forward, but yeah, he’s over paid by at least $1.3-1.8mil/yr given his lack of goal production over the past 2 seasons

Definitely need to add something to Mang and possibly a sweetener to Kuzmenko, but given the Flames lack a High End finisher and how well Kuzmenko produced for them, they should only sell high on him unless he won’t extend for whatever reason

I’m not high on Chychrun personally. I’d rather find a Big Mean D-Man and see what Poirier & Kylington can do for us on the Left side offensively. Weegar, Andersson & Miromanov are all offensively talented already with Brzustewicz a Future Offensive Top Prospect for the Flames already as well. IOW - We need more of a Stay at Home/Defensive/Penalty Killing Specialist to replace Tanev at this time

I'd bank on him being better than a good 3rd liner - he already is in my books. Dude's defensive game is unreal and he doesn't have any major shortcomings. I'd more than happily pluck him in my top 6. Cap maybe isn't ideal for one year, but he's the type of guy that would be a shrewd pickup for a contender as a missing piece to put them over the edge, imo. Really like that player.

Doesn’t negate his knee surgeries and injury history. Besides, the goal is to make the post season, so he’s still overrated and injury prone therefore has more to do yet and prove in my eyes before he’s worth a premium in Trade
