It might be a little early to discuss this but will there be a GM Game v3 starting in September?
There is currently no plan for a v3. For right now, things are running smoothly with v2, so that's what is going to be in place for a while. Things may change, but for now, v2 is the only GM Game worth thinking about.

The main reason that @matt59 and I drafted the v2 plan was because it was not within control of the BOG to fix. In other words, the game wasn't given proper guidelines, whether that is good, bad, or otherwise, and wasn't able to function properly. Teams could sign their RFAs for whatever they deemed fair, the draft wasn't set up to fit the game, etc.
v3 would only be considered if the game has major market failures, which have been contained or suppressed up to this point.

I mean, the game's gone pretty good, but just something i'm suggesting because eventually, the rosters will be all different and it would be kinda fun to go back to the real life roster after. I like the idea of one game each year ... just an idea though.

I get what you're saying. There's pros and cons to v3. In v1, teams still traded for 2018 picks even though the next game would be on by then. Maybe we should make a poll (not saying the winning vote on the poll wins, just to see how much people like this idea). If i were to choose, i think v3 sounds like a good idea but it's not too important. I think someone should set up a poll though. There's no rule about making threads about the GM Game in the NHL forum, is there?

I think it’s best just to focus on v2, and if the BOG see fit (which I see as very unlikely) they can start talk of an improbable v3.

2. Reverse any IRL trades made since September (15th?). Not sure I have the start date right, but it might not matter if there were no trades around that time.
3. Go through the official trades thread and process any Boston trades that were posted.
That will cover the majority, then you'll have to check waivers and go through your prospects. If he posted his roster and cap information, you should be able to use those numbers to check against.

Publish the team as an Armchair GM team and make the name of the team “GM Game 2017-18 - Boston Bruins”. Then go to this thread: https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/91692/5
And copy the link from the team you made into a post in this thread, asking the site MODs (@Jarvis or @Banks) to sticky your thread into the GM Game.
