Doughty and Lintuniemi for Vesey, Manson, Slepyshev, and a 2nd. Doughty is a top 3 d-man in the league if not number 1, and should be up for the Norris this year. He's a top 5 NHLer IMO and as much as that's a good return, well ... i'm not trying to be mean or anything but something here seems strange.
RAIF, the BOG + phillyjabroni looks at every trade made, but I can't promise you that this one is going to be edited. We try and edit trades when they are consensus 5/1 or 4.5/1.5, and this one has to go through the rating process before we can review it.

Wait, so you sometimes take back trades from months before?
The Boston Bruins would like to ask David Backes to move his NMC.
Boston would like to send David Backes to a team with a good playoff chance, as Boston will be entering a rebuild.
In addition, he would be moving to closer to where his family home is.

Denied. He elected to sign in Boston, if his family home was a major issue, he would have signed there. No evidence of him wanting to play for a "good playoff chance" team.

Here is a video link saying that he signed in Boston to have a good chance at winning the cup, in addition he left due to St. Louis telling him they would be entering a rebuild.
If Boston were to go into a rebuild, it is likely he would waive it.
"That's what sold me on it. ... If you have prominent players" -Backes
In adittion he was signed to be a 3rd Centre or a 2nd winger, he hasnt be able to play either of those due to Spooner plus Debrusk and Bjork playing well.

Every player has a desire to win a cup. Why hasn't he provided any evidence to waiving it? He could easily say that he would waive his NMC in order to win.
He signed a long term contract in BOS with a rising Metropolitan division. Boston is hardly a top contender right now, let alone in a couple of years when you factor in the rising Metro.

Also, many of the BOG agree that he should be allowed to be waived earlier.

he knew thereould be a chance that those prospects would turn up. he plays in the top-five of 5v5 TOI of forwards.
In the real NHL, no NHL player ever asks for a trade anymore due to fear of being portrayed in a negative light.
Duclair just asked to be traded. Trouba asked to be traded a while back. Hamonic requested to be traded from the Isles (although that was for family matters)

Yeah but the game is different then real life. If you trade out players in the game basing **** off of real life doesn't even make sense.
I believe there was a ruling about them, but you may have to look back through the thread to find it. (If you have time, since you didn't get a response yet)
Ctrl + F and look for NTC discussions on ever page until you come across it.

No, his NTC was already exhausted. However, we are discussing potential legislature that may or may not change my previous answer.
