I'm not the one who made the trade fella, a top forward prospect wasn't enough to get Byram but you think colorado wants all your expensive spare parts

Laughtons to me isn’t an upgrade on Colton and would cost a first I don’t personally see fit. I’d rather get Wennberg than Laughton as he’d be cheaper and a rental. I don’t think Wennberg is an upgrade on Colton either though</div></div>
I don't think it's about being an upgrade on colton anymore, because colton wood and O'Connor should stay together, it's about who can successfully play between the 2LW and 2 RW to allow them to take scoring pressure off the 1st line

I expect us to nab Henrique but if they decided there wasn’t a meaningful upgrade at center I can get behind that move for sure</div></div>
I think he's the best guy on the market right now (buch) but it would totally handcuff the avs for next season, unless Landy retires to the LTIR.. I'd much rather a rental or cheap forward option like frost, Laughton or sissons

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Altar7358</b></div><div>I think moving RyJo is still very much on the table. We need more out of that 4 million even with his improved play. Honestly though I don’t think he’s as negative value as we may think. Hes on pace for 31 points playing 13:50 a night. Hoping it’s only a 3rd to move him. Part of me is also curious if there being a lack of 2C available we might just add Laughton as a 3C and maybe get buchnevich to just try and give our centers very high qualities wings. Val-Colton-Buchnevich 2nd line is still quite formidable</div></div>
Buch is going to be expensive, especially within the division

Part 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NMAvsFan</b></div><div>Girard is a lot younger, makes slightly more and has one more year than Manson; it's a pretty big overstatement to say he's the "most expendable" D they have. I would say Manson has been playing fine, not great and, bottom line, he plays 3rd pair minutes for the Avs. They cannot afford to spend $4.5M on a guy playing 3rd pair minutes and his contract was basically made for being traded after this season. I do agree he has value but I can't say anyone paying much more than that for a guy his age with two years left at that amount.</div></div>
Girard and Manson are playing comparable minutes at this point in the season, bednar was playing Manson less early on because of last year's injury..
Girard is small and not very physical, Manson is the opposite. Manson slides in right behind makar on the right side the left side has toews and either Byram, Girard or Johnson depending on the situation.. Girard does nothing that toews, makar, Byram can't do but worse then them.. not to mention they have behrens and guluyev in the system. Manson brings alot more of a defensive punch while not slouching in the offensive side of play...
I really don't understand when people tell me that they'd rather have Girard than Manson, Manson was a big part of the cup winning team while Girard was injured halfway through the run.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>fckmattcooke</b></div><div>Yeah he's been really good this year, but avs will need to shed money, and getting out of his deal before he declines is smart IMO</div></div>
Guy has been playing great and plays pk and shoots right... Girard is the most expendable dman we have and makes more money.. but what I was getting at was that he's worth more than value above

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TJTwolf</b></div><div>Giroux declined to go to the Avs when he went to FLA. Can't see him changing his mind now.</div></div>
Different situation then vs now, from what i had heard giroux went to FLA for the more agreeable playing time, colorados PP1 taking up 75-80% of the good minutes was mackinnon, Kadri, landeskog, rantanen and makar.
Colorados 1st line was the best in the league. He may have felt that he'd have more of an impact on the panther team.
Today giroux immediately kicks drouin off the top PP and possibly gets 5V5 with mack and rantanen

Jakob Chychrun asking for a trade from Arizona is one of the most noted, reported on, public, and talked about instances over the last few years. he stays professional, but doesn't act coy about these things. regardless, its just making stuff up and even if he does end up getting moved, pretending like there's an automatic truth to it and acting as if there's some plight of stars wanting out of this current iteration of the Sens is just wrong lol</div></div>
But this time there is no reason for him to publicly ask for a trade, he's got to wait until July 1st not extend his deal under the guise of wanting to explore free agency, then Ottawa probably trades him anyway if they're not in the playoff picture.
Then he isn't known as the PLD of the eastern coast

Well that's not what you said, and the first line in my ACGM was "pinto shouldn't be avaialble" however if he was because of some sort of issue with the sens front office (contract dispute) maybe he asks out.. after having read articles about how chycrun and most recently thacuk are unhappy and chychrun might not resign in Ottawa, I thought there could be other players who felt the same
