Monty isnt signing for almost double what Wedgewood just signed. Monty probably will go between the nHL and aHL.
Bellows is no longer much of a prospect, the 13th OA aint much in a thin draft. I'd keep Anderson on Wright's wing.
Goalies just dont go for that type of Return. Allen may get a 3rd or 2nd, not both.
Drouin has no value even with retention at this point. He's been in and out of hockey too much.
Petry can go from everything from a 1st to some low rnd picks. It seems the Klingberg and Letang signings will determine his value on the market in the offseason.

Poor perry he just can’t win. 3 years 3 finals no wins. Lost to Tampa back to back says “alright can’t beat them, then join them” And loses again

No thanks, Jack Eichel is a locker room cancer. I'd only offer whatever the equivalent is to Ryder, Halak and a 2nd.

Trading the fifth overall pick for two veterans of dubious longevity would be a typical Cliff Fletcher move, which is why Philly fans are terrified at the prospect.

It’s pretty hard to value Zadina at this point but if we were to trade him now I’d want back another young guy with similar potential. You could probably get Veleno for around a 2nd.

I would trade both of them for either Brendan Gallagher or Josh Anderson, preferably with some (any at all) salary retained.

The gage of both is probably around a 2nd round pick are what they each value at, but it would be very hard to justify giving up either one without it being for a first round pick, and I fully expect any team to turn down a 1st round pick ask for either one. Detroit is really in a spot where they aren't desperate to trade them, so fully believe neither will be dealt, because '22 and '23 Draft class picks are pretty slim pickings because of the quality of the draft classes.

To be very honest, both players individually probably have the value of a 2nd round pick.
Although, I don’t believe any team would give say, a 1st round pick for both. If that were to happen I would imagine it would be like a 2024 1st round pick as opposed to a 22’ or 23’ considering the expected quality/depth of the next two drafts.
Personally if we were to move either one of them, I’m not sure a non-first round draft pick would be worth giving up on either one.
I would prefer one or both be attached to a draft pick from Detroit’s end to acquire a young quality NHLer.

JVRs goals were garbage tip ins. Every Philly fan ive ever interacted with wants him thrown into the sun. Its like Hoffman. He scores but thats about it. Sucks at everything else

Giving him until the trade deadline to increase his value. Makes no sense to trade him now when hes worth more at the deadline

Armia is a good 3rd liner that had a bad season on a really ****ty team, not surprised if there's teams interested in acquiring him, I wouldn't mind him back on the Jets but doubt they'd acquire him since they got Appleton at the deadline and he'll be cheaper once signed.

If that was the case, we would be looking at Conner, Hellybuck, Norris and Copp before we ever looked at Petry.</div></div>

Unless its a team like Florida (or San Jose circa 2018) that feels like they will definitely be in the playoff mix. Very unlikely. I was hoping a Boston as they are due for a sudden fall but after firing Cassidy, i think they acknowledge that this isnt going to be a contending year.
Teams like Pittsburgh and Toronto that need cap space with tight contention windows, could be in play.

So I'd say either Winnipeg's 2023 1st (top 10 protected) and a 2nd or Winnipeg's 2023 1st with no protection on its own with Montreal throwing in a 2nd</div></div>
They need to do everything they can to get more tickets in the 2023 draft, agreed. The adv for them is they are in no rush to move Dvorak and Petry. Signing MSL seems to have squashed a lot of players concerns going into the season as MSL is a players coach that is still learning game management.

Petry is not going for the 2nd OA thats laughable. A first round pick in a weak draft. Easily. This draft from 10 to 50 is all over the map. They have 10 picks in the first 4 rounds this 2022 draft.
You have to be completely biased to not see the Habs moving up at their home draft.
