I spoke to quite a few Jets fans at the time, they all felt he was nothing more than a bottom pairing guy. The advanced metrics showed the same thing. Seeing him in the flesh and tracking his numbers backed all that up. That is why I say to be optimistic about him is just homer delusion.
I read your posts quite a bit and you are incredibly snarky to people, yet so extremely sensitive.

Why would the Wild help the Rags out and take a prospect who hasn’t panned out, and move out Rossi, who has 1C upside? Pretty stupid move for the Wild.

“Not trying to troll post”….trades Lysell for Ritchie and 2nd. 🤣
Boston let Ritchie walk because he sucks and they did not want him. Imagine trading their best prospect for him. 🙄
Lysell is not untouchable but it’s close. They did offer him for Chycrun last year. A young center might get their interest. Beyond that. Nope. He will be a regular next year. If not sooner.

Going from a 60-70 point top 6 forward to now being 32 and being a middle 6 guy worth 40 points usually entails the player is washed up.
Stop dumping your scraps on teams who aren’t interested, i’ve seen your other ACGM’s. Do a little research man.

Hughes Looking for RHD before Season Start
Minnie doesn't have the cap space to waste it on Hoffman. Detroit doesn't need Daddy and Hronek is young. Edmonton wants to spend their space and picks on a big fish like Kane or Tarasenko at the deadline, not waste it on a center when they already have 3 good ones.

True for every coach and most every player though.
He is also in contract year, with Jesper Boqvist competing for his spot. Hopefully, there is no issue.

Since the minute he was traded, he was tagged with 3C. He said in interview that he will push for higher spot in lineup, but knows the centers that are on the team.

Interesting, not sure why wild would trade away there future kind of dumb. Boldy is a pretty big piece and most Likey gonna be a very good top 6 forward. So wild will pass on this

How much worse than last year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wildnochance</b></div><div>Rather keep our 1st especially in a draft which is supposed to be one of the deepest in a long while. You can get a cheap true C on elc and don't have to give up a prospect also for a rental. 2nd and like Calen addison should be okay</div></div>
I don't disagree but if you can get a 1st in a different deal for Dumba like this post, then I would definitely consider moving one for Miller.
2nd and Addison is nowhere near enough for Miller. You realize this guy scored 9 fewer points than Kaprizov, and is a center, right? I caught a fair amount of Canucks games last year just to watch Miller. He is really good, he's better than Fiala and would easily be our 2nd best player.

I don't see why it would make much sense for Minn, even if you made it a 0 cap change (you have them taking on 500k). They would be in need of two RD still. Minn would need to trade Dumba at his full cap hit, and perhaps take two players back like Kerfoot+Holl if it were to the Leaf, but they can probably get a player with term from another.

I agree Spurgeon will never waive and BG will never ask him too, not after he gave him the Captaincy and a huge contract. FYI Spurgeon's wife is from Edmonton they were high school sweethearts, I think a couple of his kids were born in Minnesota though.

It's less about Guerin getting his asking price, and more about nobody showing interest in Dumba. Russo was asked point blank during his most recent Athletic live room: "Are teams not interested in Dumba because of the asking price, or just not at all?". Russo said his impression is that it's the latter - minimal interest period.
