yes but I'm saying if that were the price then wowza. I said earlier today in an acgm it would be a second rounder and a 4th or 5th

Definitely not without an extension. And risto truly isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. I would trade montour or miller if it suits better but I think that unprotected 2021 first is enticing

rant
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Taxtime</b></div><div>Really bad take. You can always do more PR damage. This is a crucial offseason as they can still sell hope to a point (new GM, promising coach, Eichel & Dahlin, tons of cap space to remake the roster, etc.). If they CHOOSE so obviously not to be better because of money? That's new. It was hinted at in the O'Reilly deal but they spent to the cap and layoffs bht COVID. But refusing to spend on players is something no one can argue with.
There are a lot of advertisers and partners who haven't bailed yet. The fact that they are still getting reactions shows people do still care at least enough to watch/follow the team and be mad. For now. That's not going to last much longer. The brand is damaged but not beyond recovery. This could do it. Not wanting to pay for tickets is one thing, not paying attention or caring at all is another. That's how sports franchises die or move.
Here's hoping the Pegulas sell the team (they probably won't).</div></div>
I dont think they will sell. I think their finances took a big hit when the cost of energy dropped. I dont know what happened with ror. That mess should have predated any financial problems, and they basically signed off on the worst trade in franchise history to avoid paying a 7 million bonus. When i say their pr cant be any worse, im referring to nhl circles, this is not a place you wanna go to. As far as fans and advertisors go, sure, they could lose more. You are right about apathy, that would be bottom for fans.

Poile and hynes going for Hall
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gmgb</b></div><div>With an internal cap, I'd be surprised if BUF would want Johansen at $8M. It seems like a smarter move for them to buy low on Turris, and hope for a rebound once he's away from Nashville and whatever evil ancient curse that befell him there. When it comes to BUF's dmen, I'd say Miller, Montour, McCabe, then Risto is the order I'd rank them in, when it comes to how much interest NSH would have. With Johansen, NSH would want picks back with anyone of those guys to balance the trade. With Turris, they'd have to send a pick or two over to BUF.</div></div>
Thing is, we can't afford to take chances right now. Especially $6M ones. This was a 2018 or 2019 type deal.

Buffalo isn't going to take back another useless contract...they have Okposo's for another 3 yrs. I don't think Virtanen is a big enough piece for any team to take on Eriksson.

I think the MTL trade is fair if Danault extend with Buffalo. Buffalo really need complete center behind Eichel. Maybe it's bit overpaid from BUF but thats the price when the player stay in the same division. If i'm both team I'm doing this trade

Clever work and I really like Dvorak but this wouldn't be a playoff roster. It's going to be tough to mold the Sabres into it if they are low 70s.

You’re right they’re in an interesting position for sure, honestly I’d love to see Buffalo and Montreal make up some serious ground on the leafs, Lightning and Bruins. All the best this offseason and here’s to making our mark in the Atlantic.

I’m very torn on Danault his defensive ability and 5 on 5 play is amazing and is built for the playoffs. I’d be very sad to see him go and really I only think he goes if he’s trying to get a big time pay. Even if he becomes our 3C the guy will always have an important role on the team. Ultimately I think it will likely be Domi who gets traded. That 8th pick could also give us a very nice young player that could add on to our young core. Sorry for rambling but man Berge is in for a hell of an off season and I am reallly antsy to see what happens.

You can have Thompson instead if you want him.</div></div>
Bergevin would definitely be very tempted by this years first that’s for sure.
