<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dannibalcorpse</b></div><div>for what it's worth on your Isles targets:

-Holmstrom would have the highest price tag. He took some time to warm up but he seems to be developing into a solid everyday NHLer with some decent amount of cheap team control left. Isles have a ton of big contracts with term so a cheap guyw ho can hold his own is worth his weight in gold.

-Wahlstrom is probably gettable although management was talking about giving him more run - whether that's to showcase him for a trade or to try and finally get some offense out of him remains to be seen. I think the return for him is probably another "change of scenery" roster player - I would think something like Wahlstrom &amp; old Sens friend Mike Reilly for Brannstrom would be a decent framework (including Reilly to make the cap basically even.)

-I like MacLean (first NHL goal tonight) but I don't know how much value he has. Probably a 4th liner at best so I don't know what the return would be if the Isles want to trade him - feels like an add-on more than anything. Maybe Wahlstrom &amp; MacLean for Brannstrom + a mid-rounder works?</div></div>

This is a good assessment. Although, as crazy as this sounds, I'm not trading Mike Reilly. He's looked really good as an Islander. I'd rather just keep him than add him into a trade.

I don't hate the Wahlstrom and MacLean for Brannstrom and a mid-rounder idea, although I think we'd be better off just keeping them at that price.

And yeah, we're not moving Holmstrom.
