Top-6 wings and the PP are not Columbus’s problem. VO doesn’t displace any of Laine, Gaudreau, Johnson, or Marchenko. That second could go toward a trade for an actual area of need, such as a center or a left handed defenseman.

The Murphy trade is certainly an interesting proposal. But, it seems a bit rich. Bryson and Huglen are likely of little to no interest to CHI. So, attempting to assign any sort of significant positive value to them is futile. Murphy alone should be worth Rosen and the jump from 20th to 13th, IMHO. Although, there might be room for CHI to send a 3rd back or another player/prospect in that value range.
