Description

We are much deeper team and have alot of players to flip for better players or picks.

I think with this team we would of made the playoffs.
Collin White was number center for Ottawa and perform well
JT chompher is the Shut down center the Sabres needed
Zardov gives the sabres a shutdown defender with grit and allows Pilut more time to AHL.
Joel Armia and Jack Roslovic are good Depth players with the Roslovic having alot of potential.

I honestly think the Lehner trade hurts them more. Collin White is a stud.

Not rushing the rebuild should take Skinner off that team as well. Buffalo is a message it's to bad they are gonna waste Eichel prime years , they gotta start the rebuild almost from scratch.

The main problem is not the players, the fact that our GM's can not hire a competent coach and coaching staff for so many years, of course there is a lack of talent, but it can be solved.

yes sir. ROR would've helped their depth scoring significantly. Outside of the Skinner-Eichal-Reinhart line, there wasn't a whole lot of production

Remember to add McNabb and the 2 seconds, the second for Gorges, not moving Stewart to Boston for 2 seconds, Pysyk, OMW, how did he last 3 years.

Yeah jets fans have been reaping the benefits of that Myers-Kane trade for a long time. Chevy fleeced u guys. That was the moment I knew the jets were in the right hands

Why? If the team does not rush the rebuild they could have finished last in 2018.
On the other hand are you telling me the team would have done better and finished higher without Kane, O'Reilly and Lehner and would not have been the worse team in the NHL?
The fact of the matter if the rebuild is delayed and DATM drafted better we would have loaded up from the 2015 draft. OTT drafted White with the Lehner pick, Aho was available with the first second round pick. The team would have been bad in the 2016 season and would have had a chance at Matthews or Laine or Dubois. So maybe we do not have Dahlin, but we have Aho, Laine, White and more because from missed trades and poor trades the team would have had at least an additional 5 second round picks.

You are most likely correct. But we could have been Edmonton with first over all picks from 2010-2012 and still get McDavid in 2015. So we do not know. So if 2013 is your bench mark, 2018 is not that far down the road.
We do know Armia, Compher and Lemieux would be a much better 4th line than we currently have.
DATM gave away so many assets, the rebuild restarted with last years draft. Murray had the best prospect pool with 8 first or second picks in his first 2 drafts. What do we have to show for this, Eichel and Reinhart.
