Yeah I originally had him over Shore. However, Shore had an extremely physical element which I felt my team was lacking, plus he won 4 Hart trophies for best player, therefore I felt he was deserving of a place.

Cool, what players who are young at this moment do you think will make this list in the future. Ex. McDavid

McDavid is the obvious name that I think will get in by the time his career ends. Maybe Dahlin. Maybe Lafreniere.

This is a wonderful effort. But I have a disagreement with it -- you shouldn't have included players who are still active (Ovechkin and Crosby). Now you have room for two guys who I think you overlooked -- Bryan Trottier and Teemu Selanne. And even then, there's no room for my all-time hero, Mike Bossy.

Thanks for the feedback. I think Bossy was better than Selanne. Trottier is the best pure playmaker ever and vastly underrated. I considered omitting Crosby and Ovechkin but to be honest, their careers were coming to an end anyway plus I felt they were worthy of making the team given their talents and achievements thus far. I think there are many great players to consider, but one that I wanted to have in the team was Valeri Kharlamov. Ever heard of him?

I saw both Bossy and Selanne play in their glory years. Of course, I saw every game Bossy ever played, but only saw Selanne on a nightly basis once I and then he moved to SoCal. I think Bossy was a better scorer but Selanne was amazingly fast for his era, which is why I give him the nod as best RW I ever saw. Still, Bossy's 85 Stanley Cup goals is incredible. And unlike Selanne, who seldom scored from the middle or left side, Bossy could score from anyplace on the ice.

In addition to being a great offensive force, Trottier was a better defensive forward than anyone you have on your team, so he definitely belongs there.

Didn't Kharmalov come over at the end of his career, in the Eighties, and play a few seasons with New Jersey?

Yeah Bossy was the best pure goal scorer I've seen other than Brett Hull. You are right about Trottier, he was defensively responsible as well. Won 6 Stanley Cups too. It would be a good debate to choose between him and Stevie Y.

Kharlamov died in a car accident, he was extremely fast and skilled but also a great all-round player. Some might say he was better than Datsyuk and Fedorov but he spent his whole career for CSKA Moscow.

Don't forget to include the short-handed-goal specialist, Anders Kallur. I still consider his all-in-one-motion pickpocketing of Rod Langway as they came around the Washington net and then sweeping a backhander by an unsuspecting goalie the best single-handed effort I've ever seen up until that Sidney Crosby overtime winner this year that the NHL is using as a promotional highlight now.

I would not even think of trying to do better than you, great job. So many great players hard to decide who to add and who to take off. I wonder if some one as Datsyuk could be considered. The wings missed the playoffs when he left the team. He may have been the best 2 way player ever. But again this is your team, and you did a great job.
God bless you for placing Hasek over Roy. I know Patrick has cups with 2 teams but when Hasek was over the hill he took a Wings teams to the cup with more shutouts in one cup run than any other GK (I think Brodeur broke it the following year, hard to keep him off of the team as well, but this is your effort).
I agree keeping Ovechkin and Crosby on the team. If they retired right now their achievements warrant their additions.
Great job, great video, love it.
