Once you watch risto, you will realize he passes the eye test and he will be a favorite. Would be insanely valuable in a playoff series

I thought the title was referring to the jets taking on Jack Johnson as the "bad defenseman." That deal straight up sucks for the jets. Why would they do that? Even with the 3rd and Rodriguez? All that move does is clog up the leftside for up and coming dmen and take cap space away from signing a dman who doesn't suck.
Pens are gonna have to face the fact that they are stuck with JJ unless they add a kicker

I know, I was having a little fun. I didn't like either move, but felt obligated as a jets fan to comment on the JJ trade.
I still think there is a deal to be made with Buf and Winnipeg for Risto. just don't know what it is haha

Lol I dont think that package would even get you Risto. A cap dump, inconsistent starter and a late 1st. Do you even know who Sam Reinhart is? I'll counter with Dumolin and Guentzel for Hutton, Sobotka and a 2nd

I know you're joking, but in the background of your logic to make the joke I really hope you're not comparing Dumoulin to Risto and Guentzel to Reinhart. If so...that's probably why BUF has so many problems

Reinhart is equal to Guentzel, Risto is better offensively but much worse defensively. Both hold equal value to their respective teams
