Description

After being drafted 13th overall in the 2002 NHL draft, he made his NHL debut in the 03-04 season, scoring 10 goals and 22 pts in 52 games.

He then weirdly f**ked off to Europe and played there until the 06-07 season, when he scored 73pts.

His best season came in the 09-10 season, scoring 40 goals and 84 pts.

He played in CAR from the lockout shortened 12-13 season to the 14-15 season, and he actually did pretty well with them for a time. He put up 44 ans 42 pts in his first 2 seasons in CAR. But His last season in CAR was very difficult, putting up only 19 pts.

In 2015, he signed with the MTL Canadiens, certainly hoping to bounce back. Unfortunately for him and for the Canadiens, it really didn't work out, he only scored a goal and 4 pts in 15 games.

He then left for Europe, where he still plays today.

His NHL career ended with 239 goals and 517 pts in 650 games, a very good career.

Semin is the original version of Kuzy. both were/are some of the best players in the league but rarely put forth the effort or care to give 100% for 82 plus games

When Semin was on, he was legitimately a top 5 talent in the whole NHL. Guys couldn't stop him. He was a freak offensively. If he took it seriously he would have been one of the best Russians ever.
