I definitely wouldn’t do the Hall deal. That’d be Parise 2.0 for sure. Plus he’s already had a tough time staying healthy and other than the hart year hasn’t been out of this year. Don’t pay him for his career year. Plus it’s gonna be tough to sign Ovi and Vrana and Samsonov.

Parise and Suter signed matching contracts. Itd be the same concept here with Pietrangelo and Hall

In the summer of 2012, Minnesota signed Suter and Parise to matching long term deals that lasted 13 years, $98 mil and those contracts have hampered the team. Suter has been worth the money but Parise hasn’t. Plus their only halfway through those deals right now. He’s alluding that this would be very similar to this situation.

I think there are only a few teams left that didn't get the memo about not signing players till they are 34-35 or older.

idk if Kuzy is the issue or the lacks system is the issue. i would hate to move him then he goes back to is elite form... Rossi would be a great addition but idk if i want to trade Kuzy... i bounce around with the idea but hes elite on offense all we need to do if get him to play 200 feet... ovechkin learned so can he

Should have made both contracts the same odd number, like $9,478,271 per year

I feel like based on the title you already know this is a bad idea. Also, this guarantees they can't afford Vrana next summer.
