Ehlers is worth more, Lindgren isn't the add-on to get Mantha, Colorado isn't trading a 1st for one season of Tatar, and why would cap strapped pittsburgh take on the albatross of Alzners contract?

Some valid reasons why:

It fills possibly one need, center for Wings but opens another need, scoring wingers.

For Montreal, they have a glut of centers but need forwards, so it fills your needs much better than ours.

They are in the same division so we help a division rival and do nothing for ourselves.

Mantha and Domi have some of the same stats, but Mantha has been injured and many people beleive if healthy he could hit new highs that out pace Domi.

There has to be a reason he was moved from the top.6 to the bottom six in the playoffs.

Mantha is a big power forward and Dimi is a smallish center iceman. Power forwards are harder to find with good hands then smallish center iceman.

Lindgren is nothing, so it is essentially Mantha for Domi, which doe nothing for an inter divisional trade, especially when Habs seem to want Mantha much more than Wings want Domi.

Can you give me your reasons why Wings should make the deal? Because in all the posts from Had fans they say you need a center and we want Mantha. Not really a convincing arguement

Once again Detroit isn't dealing Mantha for anything related to Max Domi, Any deal for Mantha starts with Suzuki and nothing less.

Jets don’t need a small left handed defenseman, possibly the odd man out for mtl, Danault is an idea for Wpg, but selling a guy who signed longterm in wpg, not high on the list of plans.

Most serious Habs fans want these Mantha trades to stop as well. It is beginning to feel like those that keep posting them are just trolling the Habs and getting Detroit fans riled at all Habs fans.

Look at that 3rd trade. Have you ever seen Judd play? He is not the type of player that screams speed and skill. He reminds me of another McCarron type of player.
