Hit in the same spot in the helmet twice in a game by a puck

Injuries after injuries after injuries. He's NHL ready if healthy.

One year on a minimum deal was unevitable. You can throw money at a guy who played 2 games after 2 years of concussions problems.

Him to prove he's healty.

If he is, he will be the team 3rd RHD for years. If he is not, his career is over.

Two-way but waivers eligible

He could be in the 23 men roster. I would not want to lose him

Really hope that he’s finally healthy this season. If so, he could push Mete/Kulak out of the lineup. He’s a really solid defenseman and he’s been good enough to be a full-time NHL defenseman for 2.5 years, but the injuries have held him back.

The habs don’t seem to have a problem with rolling with 8D, so I’d expect him to be the 8D. (Assuming no trades or injuries)

Edit: I have no idea what the heck the bird means, I was talking about his left eye.

To be fair, we're talking about a player who has played just 91 games in the past 3 seasons combined, and whose best AHL season looks like this: 31, 1-5-6 [-9]

That's not exactly confidence inspiring.

He's literally been injured for most of his post-draft career. Signing him to league minimum to see what he can do while healthy is a great signing. His best AHL season was done while injured, as well.

The guy made the team and was solid until 2 pucks to the same eye in the same game.

Saying this is a bad deal is stupid, to be fair.

Points have nothing to do with Juulsen’s game. Also, worst case scenario, it costs the habs just $125K, so it really can’t be a bad deal.

Yup, but missing significant time due to injury at this stage of his career 100% has affected his development as a player. The question is: how much.

The [-9] in the AHL certainly does, especially for a guy with zero offense.

EXACTLY. You just proved my point. This year, we will find out how much his development was stalled for LEAGUE MINIMUM. Not a bad contract

There is nothing you can say that makes this a bad deal.

Take a hike.
