We can trade you Matthews for him since Bracco is the bestest hockey player in the world haha. Jk. I hope he turns out well for you guys. He just couldn’t make the leafs. Hope he proves them wrong.

Of the 9 players Dubas selected in 2015 Draft only 2 are currently with the Leafs, Marner and Dermott (probably his last season with the Leafs).

You realize dubas wasn't the guy selecting back then lul that was hunters job. Dubas would give suggestions but hunter would often select what he thought was best which often turned out to be 4th liners and ahl players sigh. If hunter listened to dubas aho and cirelli would have been leafs

Dude Jeremy Bracco was absolutely a Dubas guy. He was like 5'10 175 on draft day, and he was soft as dirt and was bad defensively. Doesn't exactly fit the Hunter pick profile.

Not overly unreasonable if he gets the top line role beside Svech and Aho, he already has an NHLe of 40 in the AHL and is just now entering his prime

Most teenagers struggle in the NHL initially

I'd say like 5% odds but hey stuff happens

And he adds: "because it's going to either Lafrenière, Stützle or Shesterkin... those guys are awesome and are getting a full role asap on eager to win teams."

I'd see vilardi cushioned in as the 14 minute per game 3C there or at best 2W beside iafallo at 16 per game

LA seem much more gradual in their process

Since when did Dubas select them? I know he was sharing the gm job with Hunter, but was he the one drafting all those players? I don't know.

the funny thing is he wasnt. Dubas wanted Konecney but Hunter felt trading down was the smarter move. Bracco yes looks like a Dubas guy but reality wasnt as Dubas was not eying him and instead wanted Anthony Cirelli as he felt having a defensive center was the better choice. And for today boy was he right cause for 4 years the leafs needed a guy like that and sure kerfoot is that guy now but could you picture marner - cirelli killing penalties.

Hunter wanted bracco as sure he was small but had the USDP record at the time and looked like a solid 3rd line guy. Basically at the time looked like a steal
