I mean every one knew that, but they don't even look to be playing the same style of game that made them good last year. They look slow to react. Weak on the forecheck. Look soft. I'm having flashbacks of Dave Hakstol Flyers and its going to drive me to drink.

Honestly this isn't an AV problem it's not his fault the players are struggling to complete a pass or that there was nothing done about the gapping hole on the blueline. I'm sure the team would look better if Myers and Couturier were in the line up but the defense still needs someone to slot into the top 4 cause Gus and Braun are not top 4 dmen not sure either are even top 6 dmen

AV coached teams always seem to have a lack of... I don't know how to put it but they just lack... something

I think if there was a longer camp and a preseason it would be very different but who knows AV seems to have a good first couple years then the wheels fall off

AV is a huge part of the problem. Fletcher didn’t help with the handling of filling the Niskanen hole by just going out and signing Gus. I wouldn't worry too much. I never thought they were a top team in the Metro (and now the MassMutual East ), so I'm not totally surprised they're not rolling over everyone. I think people expect a little bit too much of Hart, he's still young and honestly I don't even really think he's a top flight goalie yet (although he's definitely still on track to be). They're missing Couturier, which definitely hurts and I think they're struggling a bit after losing Niskanen too. I'm not panicking about any team yet and the Flyers are no exception. They'll figure it out
