Did anyone really have expectations of Martin Jones this season?

Yes and no. I thought he’d be a bit better having to battle for ice time with Devin Dubnyk. But I never saw his save percentage going back up over .900

Oh I think Murray looks just like alot of people suspected. Plus the kids like lafreniere and stud have like 9 games in give them a second.

Half those points game last night against Senators. Up until then, he had two secondary assists. Would expect more playing on McDavid's line.

Has he played every game with McDavid? Thought he was on the third line in the first games. Also, Oilers generate more scoring chances when he's on the ice and his xG is great. I think it's just a matter of time before he starts producing. He's been good everywhere else.

i wouldn't consider Kakko's play as "worse than expected". In the few games so far he has played much better than last year and has been one of the few bright spots upfront for the Rangers. he has clearly shown growth...

This is what I was thinking to, like what was anyone expecting? I was expecting him to be solid defensively which he has been.

I guess if you base it purely on points W Karlsson has been disappointing but if you actually watch him playing he has been really good. Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith line spend most of their time pressuring other teams and hitting posts. Karlsson + Smith are VGK best PK duo and as per usual his 200 foot game is awesome. If Vegas was scoring at the clip Montreal is Karlsson would be talked about like Danault right now.
